Philippians 4:7

“And the peace of God, which surpasses all the understandings, will guard your minds and hearts in Christ Jesus.

We know the world is going upside down where prominent world leaders cannot find an answer. Here God is telling to those who are looking at him ‘ Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives'. Dear folks our Lord Jesus Christ conveyed beforehand when he was in this world in John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

BCF-Guelph is encouraging each one of you to look unto Jesus Christ who is author and finisher of our faith. In him we have immensive and unexplainable peace which will overflow through us in this troubled world. Amen. So let us spend more of our time in meditating the word of God and in prayer. We know that Jesus himself was given to the hands of Roman empire to be crucified, but because he had HIS Father’s peace overruling in his life and he knew the will of the Father and everything happening is as foretold years ago through Prophets, Moses and in the Law, he faced that situation with a peaceful heart and rose up victoriously on the third day.

Lets pray today, ‘‘Lord, put our minds and hearts in Christ Jesus in all our sector and let your peace overcome every situation of our life. Amen’’

But you, O Lord, are a shield about me,

My glory and the lifter of my head

Psalm 3:3 (ESV)

By Anju Philip

COVID-19 seems to have taken the world by storm. Every day the number of new cases and deaths increase, putting fear into laymen and leaders alike. The word of God does not promise a life free of suffering, destruction, malice, pain or COVID-19; rather He tells us to be still and trust Him (Psalm 62:5-6), He tells us that He is our refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1) and He tell us to run to Him to be safe (Proverbs 18:10). So run to Him dear friends, learn from Him(Matthew 11:29), trust in the name of the Lord, hope in Him, for He and He alone is our shield, our glory and the lifter of our heads!

P.S: Be wise (Ephesians 5: 15-20). Wash your hands, avoid touching your face and never cease to be kind to your neighbours during this time of sickness and trials.
